About

Hi! I'm a current PhD student in Statistics at UC Santa Cruz, working on Bayesian methods for public health data. More specifically, mortality data from verbal autopsy (VA). My research focuses on lending strength and borrowing estimates from disparate sources to inform a specific target, via Bayesian methods. Namely, Bayesian federated learning.

Before UCSC, I earned my MS in Statistics at UC Santa Barbara. I bring with me data science applications from industry.
